Anando-Brahma-Movie-review

Comedy Horror Genre suddenly became a bankable projects at box office since couple of years in Indian cinema. Here in Tollywood too it minted lot of money. Of late too many movies came and forced us to laugh and made us feel too much exhausted. Since few months there were no comedy horrors and now this movie is released at appropriate time. In fact this movie is entirely different from other comedy horrors.

Director Mahi V Raghav whose debut film 'Paathashala' was a sensitive film and surprisingly this time he opted a horror comedy but entirely different plot. In fact in this genre ghosts scare humans but here director takes u-turn that human beings will frighten the ghost, certainly an unique concept. Even though the screen play is not very great the best thing directed did was the selection of the actors. Comedians like Srinivas Reddy, Vennela Kishore, Shakalaka Shankar and Tagubotu Ramesh are highly talented actors. Director exploited at his best to extract the hilorious comedy from them. In fact Shakalaka Shankar was amazing and out standing. This is his career best performance and he is exceptional comedy timing perhaps makes him a star now.

If we get into story Malaysian based NRI(Rajeev Kanakala) decides to sell off his ancestral home. He assigns this job to a real estate agent who in turn creates a rumor for his own good that the house is haunted. Overhearing this discussion in a bar, a small time waiter(Srinivasa Reddy) requests the NRI that he will prove to everyone that there are no ghosts in the house and if proved, he gets 20 % commission.

Rajeev kanakala agrees to this and the waiter makes a plan and approaches three other losers in the form of Vennela Kishore, Tagubothu Ramesh and Shakalaka Shankar. Somehow, he convinces them for a good deal and heads to the house. What will happen in the house who will win and the real victims will get justice you have to see on screen only.

Tapsee doing a Telugu movie after a long gap. She is good in her role but her screen time is very less hence she does not have much to do. Srinivas Reddy is good in the lead role but it is the trio Vennela Kishore, Shakalaka Shankar and Tagubotu Ramesh are the back bone of this film. These three really made this film sure one time watch. Shakalaka Shankar almost comedy riot on the audience with his amazing spoofs.

Director should have written better script and scenes in first half as it looks little dull but second half really saved this film. This is the use of talented actors when the you have an average script but they make it as watchable one. Music of K (Krishna Kumar) is Ok. The duration of this film is just 2 hours this is also an advantage of this flick.

If you love comedy horrors then you will sure like this one too. Do not expect too much but you will sure love the comedians like Vennela kishore and Shakalaka Shankar and their hilarious track. Just watch and laugh after all laugh is good for health.
