fidaa-Telugu-movie-review

For variety of reasons director Sekhar Kammula did not see a block buster movie since a long time. We specially the movie lovers of the sensitive and soft entertaining flicks, have been eagerly waiting for Sekhar's kind of stuff. It's truly good news for his fans. Here is a film which has all the typical Sekhar's elements with his magic touch. It is a sensitive, cool and breezy love story.

Apart from the Sekhar's creative elements, it is Sai Pallavi who is sensational and amazing. It is almost her film whose presence felt in every frame. She is the brilliant scene stealer right from the introduction scene to last scene. Her Telengana accent is a big hit among youth. The real thing which works so well with this movie is the chemistry between Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi. They look awesome and ignite the awesome fire. In fact Varun too looks elegant and stylish as a NRI doctor. A guy from west falls in love with east girl stuff is impeccably suits for Varun and Sai Pallavi.

Director Sekhar Kammula has always has good taste for music. In fact the back ground music is so much soothing and enhances every emotion admirably. Particularly the songs where Sai Pallavi dances marvellously which can bring her lot of fan base. First half which is shot in Telengana village where director Sekhar is more comfortable to present the customs and traditions of this area.

If we get into the story Varun is a doctor in USA living along with his workaholic elder brother and 8 year old younger brother. Varun insists his elder brother to get married so that his younger brother can feel more comfortable. Here starts the story as they come to Telengana to get married a girl from a lovable and affectionate family with great moral and ideal values.

Varun's elder brother likes the girl and gets married. The bride's younger sister is Sai Pallavi who is very straight forward and eccentric. Varun falls in love with her and proposes too. Sai Pallavi too connects him so well and falls in love. There is small misunderstanding of Sai Pallavi about Varun. She rejects him. How they get close and clear their differences is the rest of the story which you have to see on screen only.

Varun is stylish and shows good maturity in emotional scenes. He is growing as an actor. He desperately needs a hit film now. Perhaps this film helps him a lot to boost his career. Sai Pallavi is truly sensational. Certainly she will do wonders after this film in Tollywood. She will get huge fan following for her amazing acting skills.

Music of Shakthi Kanth is a powerful asset for this movie. Camera of Vijay C. Kumar is truly a feast to your eyes. After all it is a Dil Raju production so it has rich and vibrant production values.

Over all it is a pleasant and entertaining love story with Sekhar Kammula's magic touch. I truly recommend this film to youth as well as family audience. Go and enjoy the performances of Sai Pallavi and Varun Tej.
